Manthra Dei - Manthra Dei EP (2010)

This outstanding piece of work that was send to me by Brano of the band Manthra Dei. Thank you for that, Brano!
Manthra Dei is an Instrumental Psychedelic trio from Brescia, Italy and this is their same titled debut EP. This EP contains two awesome tracks that both are around 18 minutes long. The guys of Manthra Dei are very good musicians. The guitar player is so damn good! And his playing is well complemented by the drummer and bassist. This band is very good with letting you get carried away with their music. This is the kind of music that I want to hear in a live performance! This EP brings me in a state of trance and in a state of euphoria! One funny thing: The start of the second track sounds a lot of Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix. Enjoy!

Dziękuje Brano!
Manthra Dei to instrumentalno psychodeliczne trio z Bresci, Włochy i to jest ich debiutancka epka. Zawiera ona 2 świetne utwory, które trwają ok. 18min. Goście z Mantra Dei są bardzo dobrymi muzykami. Gitarzysta jest rewelacyjny! Jego gra jest dobrze uzupełniana przez perkusistę i basistę. Ta kapela znakomicie daje się ponieść swojej muzyce. To jest właśnie ten rodzaj gędźby ,który chciałbym usłyszeć na żywo. Epka kojarzy mi się ze stanem transu i euforii. Jedna zabawna rzecz: Początek drugiego utworu brzmi jak „Machne Gun” Jimiego Hendrixa. Enjoy:P

Henryspenncer - The Shelter Days

This little gem was already posted at my other place, Stoner Rock Is Here To Stay.
Henryspenncer is an one-man project by Valentin from France. This guy plays some great Atmospheric Psychedelic Doom with Metal and even Americana influences. (Valentin knows how to play slide guitar!) According to MySpace Henryspenncer is inspired by the following: Neil Young's Dead Man, Titan, Grails, Six Organs Of Admittance, Metallica, Across Tundras, Kyuss, Barn Owl, Headdress, The Black Angels and Earth.
The result is The Shelter Days, a free download EP that is truly great. It really has a creepy/sombre sphere. The music is some sort of indefinable, but it is awesome! You have to take my word for that. I guess you have to experience this EP for yourself. Enjoy these strange vibes! Valentin is working now on an album called To The Timeless Valley. It will be released soon!

Musicie mi zaufać i doświadczyć sami tej epki. Valentin pracuje teraz nad nowym albumem The Timeless Valley który będzie wypuszczony już niedługo!

Awesome Psychedelic Doom From Estonia

This is my first post on this blog. But let me first introduce myself. I'm Riez, a Dutch guy who is totally addicted to guitar music (60's Rock, Stoner Rock, Psychedelic Tunes, Garage, Punk, Thrash Metal, Death Metal and so on). Normally I do postings here and here. So far enough about me.

My first post is the awesome album EOS by the great Estonian bass and drum Duo Talbot. These guys plays some great Psychedelic Doom. I saw Talbot in action last april and they did truly impress! EOS is an album with seven tracks and they're all killers. It kicks of with the intro "Threshold" which is followed by the Heavy "Cayenne". Both guys do sing on this album, the bass player does more real singing and the drummer does the grunting parts. In my opinion this is one of the best album of 2010 so far! And Talbot is giving it away for free! Get the album here and enjoy! (On their website you can also download their first EP Tundra).

To mój pierwszy post na tym blogu. Nazywam się Riez, jestem Holendrem, maksymalnie uzależnionym od muzyki gitarowej (tj. rock z lat 60, stoner, psychodelia, garage, punk, thrash metal, death metal itd.). Zazwyczaj piszę tutaj i tutaj. To tyle o mnie.

Mój pierwszy wpis będzie poświęcony znakomitej płycie EOS, estońskiego basowo-perkusyjnego duetu Talbot. Chłopaki grają znakomity, psychodeliczny doom. Widziałem ich w akcji w kwietniu i zrobili na mnie olbrzymie wrażenie! Na EOSznajdziemy siedem kawałków, wszystkie z nich to typowe killery. Album otwiera intro Treshold, które przechodzi w ciężkie Cayenne. Obu członków zespołu śpiewa na tym krążku, basista odpowiada za tradycyjne wokale, a perkusista za growl. Moim zdaniem jest to póki co jedna z najlepszych rzeczy w 2010 roku. Zespół udostępnił tę płytę za darmo, możecie ją ściągnąć stąd! Miłego słuchania! (z oficjalnej strony kapeli możecie pobrać również ich debiutancką Epkę).
